Well, we've made our debut = )
Our first field trip was last Friday and it was a fun time. Since it was our first trip as a group and many of our families first "group field trip" experience... we went with a simple one to break them in easy ; )
We made donuts at Krispy Kreme! After getting our baking hats on, we headed back to learn how those fun machines work, how they ice and fill the donuts by hand, and we learned where all those bad donuts go. =) (hmmmmm....is there such a thing as a bad donut?)
It was so fun! In fact, we had such a great turn out, we had to divide into two groups! Remember, we're country homeschoolers = ) We live about one hour from the big city of Tulsa... so driving to Krispy Kreme for a field trip is serious dedication. (Oh my goodness, I love this too much!)
Afterwards a few of us scattered over to Barnes and Noble for some fun exploration. It wasn't planned, just happened... That's a sign of new found friendships in the air. =) (insert cute love music here)
